Kirkwood H.O.G. Miler of the Year 2016
KIrkwood Miler program
Saturday, April 30th is the deadline for having your mileage verified for the 2016 campaign. Make sure to fill out the form, record your mileage AND having it verified at Doc's by a Doc's employee or a Kirkwood H.O.G. Primary Officer. The form must be dated April 30th or earlier. I will be at Doc's on Saturday morning and again on Sunday. Meet me there to turn in your form or ask the employee that verifies your mileage to place the form in the Kirkwood H.O.G. file drawer in the office area. If you can't make it to Doc's before this Saturday, call me or another primary officer to arrange turning in the form.
To be fair to everyone, we cannot accept any forms after May 1st and they must be dated prior to May 1st.
If we have your mileage from 2015 and you have ridden at least 10,000 miles, you will be recognized at the June or July Chapter Meeting, TBD later. We will also recognize the Male and Female riders that rode the most miles in the previous 12 months. All participants that rode over 10,000 miles will receive a patch and/or rocker for 2016.
Available at Doc's in the Kirkwood H.O.G. display at the entrance to the Service Department from the Parts Department. Fill out the form with your VIN and mileage. If you are sending the form to H.O.G. you will need a dealer representative to verify the mileage and sign the form. If you are simply entering the Kirkwood H.O.G. Miler of the Year competition you can have a Primary Officer verify the mileage and the sign the form. If you have multiple Harleys, you must turn in a separate form for each bike.
If you are new to the Miler program, fill out the form and turn it in now and this will be your starting mileage for next year's contest.
You may ask why we do this. Bragging Rights Of course! We are all happiest when riding our Harleys and seeing the country as only we know is the best way possible. This is a way you can document the miles and be recognized locally. If you turn in the forms to National H.O.G. they will send you patches to display at various intervals.
